Everything couples ask before booking Serenity Villa.
How many guests can stay?
Two. Serenity Villa is a couples-only retreat with one king bedroom and one bathroom, both upstairs.
Is the hot tub private?
Yes. It's inside your own hot tub room behind a glass wall that lifts open, with a screen so you can soak with the mountain air. Available 24 hours a day, year-round.
Is there a sauna?
Yes, a glass-front cedar sauna with a forest view, just outside the hot tub room.
How far is Norris Lake?
About a five-minute drive. Lakeview Marina's boat ramp is 5 minutes away, and Beach Island Marina, where you can rent a pontoon, is 8 minutes away.
Can we bring a boat?
Yes. Free driveway parking for four vehicles with room for a boat trailer.
What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is 4:00 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. Check-in is contactless; instructions arrive by email before your stay.
Is there a minimum age to book?
Yes, the primary guest must be 25 or older.
Is there a minimum stay?
It varies by season and by weekend. The booking calendar shows the minimum for your dates.
Are pets allowed?
No. Serenity Villa is a pet-free property.
Is smoking allowed?
No smoking or vaping inside the villa or in the hot tub room.
Can we host a party or have visitors?
No. The villa is for the two registered guests only.
Is the villa suitable for children?
It was designed for two adults. It isn't baby-proofed: there are stairs, high balconies, and a hot tub.
Are there stairs?
Yes. The bedroom and bathroom are on the second floor, up an interior staircase. The walk from parking to the front door is flat and well lit.
Are there cameras?
One doorbell camera to the right of the front door, facing away from the house. No cameras inside.
Is there a security deposit?
Not through this website. Damage is handled through the platform you book on, under its terms, and guests are responsible for damage beyond normal wear and tear.
What's the cancellation policy?
On Airbnb: full refund up to 30 days before check-in, 50% between 7 and 30 days, no refund inside 7 days. Bookings made at least 7 days out can also be cancelled free within 24 hours of booking. VRBO bookings follow the cancellation policy on our VRBO listing.
